The offer of shares in SenzaGen AB (“SenzaGen” or “the Company”) prior to the Company’s listing on Nasdaq First North was heavily oversubscribed. The Company expects to raise SEK 90.1 million through this new share offer, before issue costs. Estimated first day of trading in the Company’s shares on Nasdaq First North is 21th September 2017, provided that Nasdaq Stockholm AB approves the Company’s application.

The application period for SenzaGen’s offer ended on September 12th 2017. The offer was addressed to both institutional and professional investors, as well as the general public in Sweden. When the offer has been registered with the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket), the number of shares will increase by 4,645,000 to a total of 15,461,000 shares. Through the share issue, the Company has acquired more than 1,000 new shareholders.

Subscription undertakings
Prior to the subscription period, most existing as well as new institutional and qualified investors had undertaken to subscribe in advance for shares to a total of approximately SEK 75 million, corresponding to 83 percent of the offer. Erbjudandet i SenzaGen kraftigt övertecknad inför listning på Nasdaq First North

Erbjudandet i SenzaGen AB (publ) (”SenzaGen” eller ”Bolaget”) inför Bolagets notering på Nasdaq First North blev kraftigt övertecknad. Genom nyemissionen i erbjudandet tillförs Bolaget 90,1 MSEK före emissionskostnader.  Beräknad första dag för handel i Bolagets aktie på Nasdaq First North är den 21 september 2017 under förutsättning att Nasdaq Stockholm AB godkänner Bolagets ansökan.

Anmälningsperioden för SenzaGens erbjudande avslutades den 12 september 2017. Erbjudandet riktades till såväl institutionella och professionella investerare som allmänheten i Sverige. När nyemissionen i erbjudandet har registrerats hos Bolagsverket kommer antalet aktier att öka med 4 645 000 till totalt 15 461 000 aktier. New colleague at SenzaGen

Welcome to SenzaGen Henrik Appelgren!

Henrik has started his position as Chief Scientific Officer with us here at SenzaGen this week. Henrik is a biologist with a PhD in genetic toxicology. He has been working at the Swedish Chemicals Agency for 15 years, where he worked as Sweden’s national coordinator in the OECD Test Guideline Programme. Henrik has a deep knowledge in alternative test methods and of regulatory work in the chemical industry – both nationally and internationally. He also has long experience of health risk assessments of chemicals in all European legislation. He is, and has been, a member of several scientific expert councils including FORMAS, the Swedish Research Council, the Swedish Fund for Research Without Animal Experiments, the Scandinavian Society for Cell Toxicology and EUToxRisk.

Henrik strengthens SenzaGen’s management for the commercialization of the GARD tests and prior to the company’s planned listing on Nasdaq First North.

Allergy is a growing health problem in humans. The data requirements for the assessment of sensitisation in chemical legislations have been based on animal assays, which until now have served as the golden standard. However, in vitro assays have been developed which need to be combined in order to address all key events for sensitisation to fulfil the demands in e. g., Reach. However, The Genomic Allergen Rapid Detection Skin (GARDskin) assay addresses all the key regulatory questions regarding sensitisation, including potency – How? This session we will give an update on the validation status and the different applications of GARD.

Konferensen, The 53rd European Congress of the European Societies of Toxicology, EUROTOX, hålls i Bratislava, Slovakien den 10-13 september 2017. Kongressen erbjuder en mängd symposier och workshops, och är en viktig mötesplats för forskningsvärlden och industrin.

The tests make use of genetic biomarkers for more than 200 genes which cover the entire immune reaction and are relevant to predicting the risk of hypersensitivity. The tests have 90% reliability.
