Senior Business Development Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and science-oriented Senior Business Development Manager for our group company, VitroScreen, based in Milan. VitroScreen specializes in advanced 3D tissue and spheroid models, offering high-quality in vitro testing services with a strong reputation in the industry. VitroScreen strives to be recognized as a highly reliable and customer-focused partner for preclinical testing and R&D needs in Life Sciences. Your responsibility will be to grow our business by building and maintaining long-term relationships in established and new markets.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth by developing and nurturing relationships with clients and partners across Europe and North America. You will play a key role in enhancing brand awareness, aligning our services with customer needs, and working closely with VitroScreen’s scientific team to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Additionally, you will collaborate with the SenzaGen Group’s sales and marketing teams to identify new customer opportunities. You will also represent VitroScreen at conferences and other scientific events, further expanding our presence in the industry.

Your profile

We believe you hold at least a Masters’s degree in Life Sciences with at least 5 years of experience in international sales within the Life Sciences industry, with a proven track record in sales of pre-clinical and non-clinical scientific services or products. A business degree would be an advantage.

You are motivated by business success with a passion for both science and sales development. In your previous roles you have worked with various decision-makers and managed the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to booking meetings, identifying needs and presenting customized solutions. Knowledge of in vitro toxicology and 3D models is an advantage.

You are self-motivated, organized, and able to manage both independent and team projects effectively.

You speak and write fluent Italian and English. French is advantageous.
